Q1.Do I need an advance reservation to rent a car?

If a car is available on the date you would like to rent then it is possible to rent. However, there may be cases in which the car of your choice is fully booked. Therefore, making an advance reservation is recommended.

Q2.Is it acceptable for the person driving the car to be not the same person as the one who made the reservation?

In principle, the person who made the reservation and the person renting the car should have the same name.
We ask customers to make reservations with their own driving license.

Q3.How can I rent a car?

Please make a reservation first. You can make a reservation via our company's website, or call TOYOTA Rent a Car Sapporo reservation center.
When making a reservation, you will be asked for the following details:
1. Time & date of rental and return
2. Type of car required
3. Name
4. Phone number
5. Rental and return office
6. Optional requirements

Q4.From when can I make a reservation?

Via the website, we accept reservation made from three months to two days before the date of use.
On the phone, we take reservations from six months before the date of use.

Q5.Are there cancellation charges for canceling a reservation?

When canceling your reservation, you are asked to pay a certain amount of cancellation fees.
Please make sure to contact us when you would like to make changes to or cancel your reservation.
Also, if there is no contact even one hour after the scheduled departure time, please note that your reservation will be cancelled.

Q6.How do I make changes or cancel my reservation?

If you made an online reservation, you can make changes or cancel your reservation via the website.
If you made a reservation by phone, please contact the phone number.

Q7.If I cannot make it to the office of departure on time, what should I do?

In the case you would be late for your reservation, please be sure to contact the office where you have a reservation in question.
If no contact has been made one hour after the scheduled departure time, your reservation may be cancelled and the car unavailable.
