Insurance
All our hire cars are insured. In case of an accident, the benefits shall be paid under our insurance policy. There is no deductible (deductible compensation is included into car rental price).

- Navigation System
- - All our hire cars have navigation system. There is no extra charge for it.
English speaking navigation is available though numbers and car types are limited. - Fuel
- - Your hire car will be supplied with a full tank of fuel. We ask you to refill the tank on return. The type of fuel is Regular (unleaded) or Diesel.

Extra Options
- Child Car Seat
- - The law requires that children under six years old be secured in child car seats. Please be sure to let us know if you need child car seats when you make a reservation. Otherwise, we can not rent a car.
A baby car seat can be used for children under nine months old(Height:shorter than 75cm,Weight:lighter than 10kg). They are available for 500 yen every 3 days.Seat Type Child Size

- - Ski rack is available in winter. Up to 6 pairs of ski or up to 4 snowboards(maybe less, depending on size) can be carried.

- - TOYOTA Rent a Car has 65 branches in all Hokkaido. You can drop off at any branches. If you want to drop off a car to an office other than the office where the car was picked up, one way charge is required depending on the distance. For one way charge rates, please see one way charge.
Requirements
- Driver's licenses
- Japanese domestic driver's license or international driver's license obtained in accordance with the Geneva Convention of 1949 are applicable. International driver's license holders should present their passport simultaneously. Driver's licenses issued in 6 countries of Switzerland, Germany, France, Belgium, Italy and Taiwan are also acceptable, presented with the Japanese translation of a driver's license and their passport simultaneously.

- At the time of rental please have your current driver's license, passport and credit card with you. We ask you to prepay an estimated amount by credit card when you pick up the car. We accept most of the credit cards.
- Non Operation Charge
- In case of an accident, a customer shall bear 20,000 yen or 50,000 yen as a part of the business compensation, for we cannot rent the car to next customer during the repair period.

- Please make sure to contact us when you would like to make changes in your reservation or your flight is changed. Your reservation will be cancelled in case you do not visit our office before close on your planned departure day without any notice.
- Cancellation Policy
- We take cancellation fee under our cancellation policy as below.
Until 7 days before your departure: None
6 - 3 days before your departure: 20% of estimated amount
2 - 1 days before your departure: 30% of estimated amount
On your departure day or after: 50% of estimated amount
